Bridging between the public and private sector

Intermarket was retained by the Regent Park consultant team to act as an interface between the project team and the private sector real estate community for the re-development of one of the largest residential projects in Canada.

Intermarket assisted in creating a proposal call process that would appeal to the private sector and would result in the re-development of a 70 acre downtown site that contains over 10,000 residential rental units.

Intermarket also provided input on structuring the project and how to maximize private sector interest in a public housing re-development project.

Through coordinated meetings between the Regent Park consultant team and developers, interest and participation in the re-development concluded in a successful transition from the public to private sector.
