Challenge
Retained by a private developer to assist with the design and construction of an office building on a challenging site; with a tight budget and an aggressive schedule.
Assisted a private developer by:
- Utilizing the sloping site as an advantage by cantilevering the building and providing covered, executive parking on the lower level.
- Creating a detailed construction budget that separates out each individual building component; and allows the partners to make informed business decisions.
- Utilizing a “fast track” construction process to meet the aggressive completion schedule.
Result
A successful new suburban office complex built on a challenging site; and constructed within budget and on schedule.
