Successful restoration of a heritage building
As part of the Sportsworld development, an old, vacant school house property was acquired to complete the road system for the project. The school house (circa 1890) was not designated historical, but the local ratepayer groups and councillor requested it be salvaged.
Intermarket evaluated the structure to ensure the building could be economically restored and then created an innovative plan to integrate the renovated structure into the overall project.
The design concepts were modeled and then rendered in CADD so potential restaurant tenants could visualize how the interior and exterior of the renovated building would look.
The concept and CADD images were presented to a number of users and Borealis Grille & Bar leased the space; and currently operate a very successful operation in this location
Intermarket managed the renovation of this heritage building and finished this complex work on-time and on-budget.
The local ratepayers and councilor were very pleased with the collaboration and results; and subsequently have been extremely supportive in all other aspects of the Sportsworld project.
